From teaching children to mentoring foster youth, I’ve always been driven by a desire to leave a positive mark on people’s lives.
Becoming a REALTOR® was never part of my original plan. In fact, real estate started as a part-time job, something that gave me the flexibility to raise my daughters while they were young. But over time, it grew into something so much more: a meaningful way to walk alongside people during one of the most important transitions in their life. That desire to help others and make a difference has always been at the heart of who I am.
Before real estate, I was an elementary school teacher. I loved teaching. I loved the kids. There was something deeply fulfilling about helping shape their education, character, and outlook on life. It was in those early years of teaching that I also met my husband, Bob - though our story is a bit unconventional. I was dating one of his acquaintances for seven years, and during that time, Bob waited patiently. When that relationship ended, he finally asked me out. Five months later, we were married. We settled in Virginia Beach and had two beautiful daughters, Rachel and Lauren.
In 2000, I earned my real estate license and began working alongside Bob as he launched his home building business. We took on a development project in Blacksburg, VA in 2006—right before the market crashed in 2008. Those years were
tough! Real estate and construction took a hit, and like many others, we had to pivot. We relocated to Bluffton, SC, where I returned to teaching for stability. Life became more predictable again—school days, carpools and soccer games. It was a season of calm.
But life shifted once more when Bob was offered a new opportunity in Florida. He was thrilled—he had always dreamed of living in the surf town of Melbourne Beach. The girls were excited too. Everyone was ready for the next chapter… everyone except me.
Still, we made the move. And just as we were beginning to renovate our small home, Hurricane Irma swept through and a small tornado hit our backyard. The damage forced us out. We spent the next several months moving from one rental to another, trying to rebuild—not just the house, but my real estate career, in a place where I didn’t know a soul.
It was a hard season, but not without hope. One day, in the middle of construction, we discovered Bible verses written on the unfinished walls of our home. We had written some ourselves during the renovation—but these were different. We didn’t write them. To this day, we don’t know who did. But we took them as encouragement from God—a reminder that we were on the right path, and that I had nothing to fear.
Looking back now, I’m so thankful we made the move. Florida has been a gift. As a family, we’ve spent countless days boating, surfing, waterskiing, and just soaking up the beauty of this special place. Nature has always grounded me, and the water - especially the quiet of the ocean - has a way of resetting my soul. It’s where I feel closest to God.
Outside of work, I love running, outdoor adventures, and reading. Though I’m no longer in a classroom, I still find ways to get my “kid fix” through children’s ministry and volunteering with Royal Family Kids, an incredible organization that provides children in foster care with love,
positive experiences, and the chance to heal from trauma. Once a month, I get to help create safe, joy-filled experiences for these kids so they can feel valued and loved.
Rachel, my oldest, recently started her career in construction management, and is also squeezing in a five-month stint as a snowboard instructor in Park City this winter. Lauren is studying animal sciences at the University of Florida and dreams of working with marine mammals one day - her heart is fully in it. And of course, our family wouldn’t be complete without Pepper and Poncho, our beach-loving dogs who never turn down a game of frisbee.
I truly feel blessed. Every day, I try to align my life with God’s plan, show compassion, let go of resentment, and see others through a lens of grace. Life is short, and I’ve learned not to sweat the small stuff. There’s always a bigger picture.
As for real estate, it has become so much more than a job - it’s a way to serve, to connect, and to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I’m honored to be part of their journey, and I never take that for granted.
My clients are my priority, and I go above and beyond to make sure they’re well cared for. I’m always available by phone or text, and I keep my word—earning trust matters more to me than a commission. Over 16 years, I’ve guided buyers and sellers through all types of markets, gaining a sharp eye for value, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to anticipate challenges before they arise. I built my business on honesty, compassion, and treating every client with the same care, no matter their budget.
Buying or selling a home is a major life change, and I take pride in managing every detail—big and small—whether it’s packing, staging, coordinating vendors, or explaining contracts. I genuinely enjoy helping people, and many of my clients become lifelong friends.
When you work with me, you’re never passed off to an assistant. I personally guide you from start to finish, overseeing every detail of the transaction. My goal is to bring calm and clarity to what can often feel overwhelming, and act as a steady guide every step of the way.
Sincerely,

Jenna Deal
